This case is good; it has ambient air channeled from the exterior over the CPU.
If you decide to fit an extra fan in the front, remember that the air direction is to pull air into the case.
The power supply you have chosen is adequate for what you plan but is at the bottom with 380 watts output. This depends on what you want from your PC.
I.e. if you want to play games then your choice is lacking in all areas. If you want to surf the net and send emails and write and print documents then this PC set up is fine.

I personally would build a 965 chipset and mount an Intel Duo in it.
If you still prefer AMD then I would look at Gigabyte boards and the same Model Video card that you like but in Gigabyte brand again.

Stay ONLY with main name brand RAM not this that you have chosen. Kingston or Corsair you only get what you pay for.
I also see that you will need 2 sticks of RAM. Either 2 X 512 to make 1 gig or 2 X 1 gig.
This is because the picture shows you have 2 banks of 2 slots each.
This is good as the HDD can write faster 2 dual banks of RAM than 1 Bank.

Western Digital Hard drive is a perfect choice.
Stay with NVIDIA graphics card.

Use static precautions when you handle your components especially you’re RAM.

Have fun.

Thanks so much.

I may opt for the cheaper core duo but my budget is really only about $580 or £300. The case says it is micro ATX, I assume this means my ATX motherboard is compatible?

The U means Ultra but the case will take an ATX board as well, but it will not take a full ATX.
I work in Micro electronics and electronics and most things are designed in INDUSTRY standards. Computers need to follow some type of standard which it does, but it is sometimes hard for us, as the computer industry moves so fast.

I had posted a reply but apparently it was deleted. Oh well....

I disagree with much of what MeOnMine wrote. I would think that someone who "work in Micro electronics" would be a little more observant.

The case you chose in a microATX case (aka uATX) which means it will only accept a microATX motherboard. The board you selected is ATX so it will NOT fit in that case. Either pick another case, or another board...I suggest a different case.

No comment necessary about the CPU & fan.

The motherboard uses the entry level NF550 chipset. You could do better.

Nothing wrong with the memory choice. Micron IS brand name RAM.

That power supply will not work. It conforms to the earlier ATX12V 1.3 standard & only has a 20-pin main plug. Look for one that conforms to the ATX12V 2.x standard & has a 24-pin plug, dual +12v rails of 18A each, one large 120mm cooling fan & at least 400W.

Video card is OK...nothing fantastic, but a decent low end gamer.

HDD is OK.

Wow, thanks your right about the case thingy.

As for the power, I would of never realised that either.
Thanks to your advice, Im now opting for a better case,
with a 24pin PSU 400W onboard. Feel free to advise!

True gratitude to all posters.
