Hi. My 3 year old notebook Znote 6615WD crashed the other day. I was in a game while talking to a friend on skype when it crashed. The image on the screen got all distorted and froze, couldn't tab or ctrl+alt+del. It all froze but the skype conversation, we talked for 2-3 min after the crash, strange we can keep talking but everything else is frozen. Hit the powerkey for a reboot. While bios screen and WinXP startup screen were loading the image was somewhat distorted, but when desktop screen should appear it was just black. If anyone has any clue I'd be happy to hear something. tl,dr load screens distorted, win desktop screen black.

TRy rebooting to Safe Mode and adjusting your resolution. It sounds like your screen resolution got set to one that is not supported.
