Display Problem

Specs: Windows XP, 1 GB
It seems my computer is having problems with the display driver(VIA/S3G). Every time I try to start any game the screen goes blank then it gives the message "your vt display driver has stopped working" and then i have to restart my computer. Also when I start any video the screen flickers. I solved that problem partially by changing the color quality from 32-bit to 16-bit(it flickers very less now). But still I cannot play any game. Please suggest a remedy.

if it is onboard graphic then try up grading drivers. after that try changing bios setting to default ,also try cleaning the system before doing anything

The VIA/S3 integrated graphics are garbage...you need to invest in a real video card. In the meantime, try updating the drivers. Here's direct download links to both the chipset drivers & the video drivers...install them in order:
