Display driver failures

My laptop has been experiencing occasional display driver failures that are followed by a recovery. Is this something I should worry about? What could be causing it. I have IOBit Malware Fighter along with Advanced Systemcare 4.1 Pro on my computer to help prevent against viruses/malware/adware, but I don't know if what I am experiencing is from anything of that sort. Could this be a software issue or could it be a virus? I know next to nothing about computers along with computer terms...so step-by-step advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hard to say if it could be hardware or software.

I'd start with memtest and maybe see if you get a diag suite to run more tests.

Personally, I'd do a reload to OEM state with the original media and see if it faults out.

1/3 of highway deaths are caused by drunks. The rest are by people who can't drive any better than a drunk.

How would I go about doing the things you previously listed? I assume memtest is short for a memory diagnostics test? And what do I have to do to reload to OEM state? Can you give me step-by-step instructions to reload the OEM? I wouldn't even know the first thing about how to do so...and once I have reloaded the OEM, is there a way to go back to the previous state before reloading it just in case it does experience failure?
