Specs: Windows XP, A-Compaq/b-don't know
I was getting updates from Microsoft updates for a pc yesterday and something went wrong, It is an old Dell tower from 2001 it was used in a work setting but gave to me when they upgraded. One of the updates was for the video card but the update was from 2001 and set it back instead of using the more current display adapter. Is there anyway to uninstall this hardware update and go back to the previous one?

You can check in device manager, open the video adapter and see if you can roll back the driver.

Or if the video is on-board or the card originally came with it, start here:


and navigate to the support page for your model and download the drivers there.
