I recently got a new PCI card Nivida Geforce FX PCI 128 MB DDR . I installed the card and disabld the Onboard Video wich is an Intel Graphics COntroller 82845G . The PCI card is not working well cause even if the Onboard video is disabled it seems that its drivers are causing conflicts . I can't disable the onboard video on the BIOS nor a jumper ( I already checked with the manufacturer and other places ) . I tried uninstalling the Onboard Graphics but they would reinstall after the reboot . I would like to know if there is any way to disable the onboard video . I've heard people telling that they deleted some files related to the Onboard Video and that worked but I don't know wich files are these . I suppose that the Onboard video files are causing this and I think I have to get rid of every file related to thin Intel Graphics Controller. What should I do ?

I would say to boot up with the onboard video, uninstal the onboard video adapter's drivers, then turn of pc, plug the new video card, boot up, quiqly get into bios (usualy by presing the Del key) and disable the onboard video. That should do it. GooD Luck!
It's nice to be important but it's more important to be nice...

You should be able to disable it in BIOS. I haven't met a mainboard without that option.
Anyway, search for the driver file (driver details for info) of the card on your comp and cut it out of original place, widows won't be able to find it and reinstall it after reboot. Also you can disable it in the Device Manager.
