How do I disable/get rid of the onboard video? I've disabled it, as well as uninstalled it in Device Mgr, but the PC jutt reinstalls it on its own. The aftermarket PCI-E card seems to be the main video source, but my RAM looks to still be allocated to the onboard part. I see nothing in the BIOs options about disabling onboard video/graphics. Anybody got any ideas?

Take another look in BIOS. This is almost always where you do this. It might be a function of enabling an add-on card. If necessary search Google for a BIOS manual.

There are 2 setting in CMOS setup that can affect where the video signal is routed on the computer.

The first is in CMOS/Advanced Chipset Features..... it is called Dual Monitor support.
It can be enabled or disabled. (default is disabled)

The second is in CMOS/PnP/PCI configurations...... it is called Init Display First.
It can be set to PCIex or onboard or PCI (default is PCIex)

thanks for all your help, folks. The dual monitor option was enabled, I disabled it, and now all is well in PC world. Thanks again!
