disabling onboard graphics

How do I disable/get rid of the onboard video? I've disabled it, as well as uninstalled it in Device Mgr, but the PC jutt reinstalls it on its own. The aftermarket PCI-E card seems to be the main video source, but my RAM looks to still be allocated to the onboard part. I see nothing in the BIOs options about disabling onboard video/graphics. Anybody got any ideas?

Take another look in BIOS. This is almost always where you do this. It might be a function of enabling an add-on card. If necessary search Google for a BIOS manual.

See original post. It says: "I've disabled it, as well as uninstalled it in Device Mgr"

There are 2 setting in CMOS setup that can affect where the video signal is routed on the computer.
The first is in CMOS/Advanced Chipset Features..... it is called Dual Monitor support. It can be enabled or disabled. (default is disabled)
The second is in CMOS/PnP/PCI configurations...... it is called Init Display First. It can be set to PCIex or onboard or PCI (default is PCIex)
