Disabling COM ports on Winbond I/O

How do you disable the serial ports on a Winbond PTI-255W V1.2 I/O card? I know that you have to set some jumpers, but the only info I've been able to find so far deals with earlier versions of the card (e.g. 1.01). Normally, this wouldn't be such a problem, except that the two cards use different jumper setups for their serial ports. Help would be appreciated. Thanks. :)

Thanks for the link. :) As it turns out, the card I have in my 486 (Winbond PTI-255W V1.2) is actually pretty much identical to the one they have on the website (DTK PTI-255W 1.01). I guess that just needed to take a closer look. :)

Yeah, a lot of those old cards were pretty much the same--just different distributors. If you're dealing with a lot of that older hardware it's a good idea to keep a link to a th99 site. They tend to come and go. You might be able to find a download site too. There were 2 versions--the free one, which I think was about a 19 meg download and the full version that was about a 100 meg download. The free version was text-only while the full version had diagrams and pics.
