Comment:

I have a Synaptics Touchpad that quite annoyingly shrinks windows that I'm working on if I touch the right side of the pad. I would like to disable it, but when I go to Mouse and look for the place where I can disable "Enable Tap Zone", the option does not exist. Would anyone be able to explain how I can be rid of this this horrible feature?

Have you installed the latest Synaptics Drivers, which should be available from Toshiba, alternatively Synaptic provide generic ones:

Right click the touchpad icon near the clock and click properties. From there you can disable what ever you like.
