I have a Synaptics Touchpad that quite annoyingly shrinks windows that I'm working on if I touch the right side of the pad. I would like to disable it, but when I go to Mouse and look for the place where I can disable "Enable Tap Zone", the option does not exist. Would anyone be able to explain how I can be rid of this this horrible feature?

Summary: Why not try a restore to before the problem started? Secondly, I'd suggest is to make sure the touchpad driver is installed for your laptop. thirdly, I'd disable the tap = click function in that drive...
