Specs: Windows XP
We have a new printer: HP CP4025n. Every time I print I have to walk over and tell it what sort of paper I'm using. It has the same paper type from the same tray but it still asks for verification and/or wants me to load the paper type specified (already full tray). I have selected the proper type and size from the control panel - still no luck.

I would like to disable paper auto sensing but don't know how to do it.

Fancy printer with many options. HP support is best option.
Here is the online manual:

Look specifically at paper and print media / Change driver to match

Get HP assistance if that doesn't do it. You may have to try 2 or 3 times to get a person that understands your issue... Here is the support page for that product with chat link...

Thanks so much! It seems Printer Shortcuts will be the way to go. I have a public use resource center with many users. Shortcuts with paper types will work best. Now let's hope they can follow directions!
