I have a Kodak DX3500 Digital Camera its about 2 years old.The camera used to work fine on my computer now I cannot get my computer to reconize the camera.I have formated the camera I have also hooked the camera up to another computer and I have used a different usb cord still nothing.The camera takes the pics works fine except I cannot get the pics off.I also downloaded the kodak software and updated it still nothing.the pics on the camera memory or on the memory card I cannot get off.Also when i formated the camera it saide I had pics still but no pictures.Could anyone please help me I do not know what else to do.Also the batteries are good.Thank you all

Have you tried reading your memory card in a reader? That would help isolate your problem. Formatting probably erased any pictures you had. I would first try reading your memory card out of the camera.

To add to wizard fred, is it possible you have remaining pictures on the internal memory too? That could explain why it says you have pictures, but do not see them (depending how the camera is set up). I have the 3600 and saw that problem with the pictures once. I pulled out the memory card then erased the internal memory. But I do believe I did see the pictures though, which may be different problem than you are having. When all else fails beat the $%!* out of it!!!

was the card formatted on the camera or on a PC - it needs to be done on the camera (although if the camera format is not clearing errors do it on the pc THEN the camera - it forces a lower level format !) Techy n Welsh
