what is the difference B/W IDE ATA 100 & ATA 133.My present Device type is ATA 100 can i try ATA 133.will it effect MotherBoard?

sorry for above info about my HDD i got doubt About my HDD is it ATA133 r ATA100 so i am posting images of HDD properties in this images which is my HDD.is it ATA100 r ATA133.but clear my above & this doubt.

If the rest of the specs are the same - seek time, buffer size, etc - you will see no difference in performance.
If you want your system to run better/faster & you currently only have 256MB RAM, add another 256MB (at least)

It's not the hard drives that are ATA100 or ATA133 capable. That is the theoretical maximum speed of the interface. Drives these days cannot reach 100MB/S throughput speed, so like Jam said, 100 or 133 of the interface makes no practical difference.
