Hey, I got a laptop Windows Xp: Windows Vista, HP When I load up it runs normal but after i login the desktop is frozen, even in safe mode. CTRL+ALT+DELETE dose not work neither does clicking any icons. The only way to shutdown is by holding the power button, and i've been lookin around this website and still didnt find any tips for saving the information just total reboot.

Is it possible to fix this problem and have my information saved? or my only chance of fixing this is by losing everything and reboot/reformat? Please ur help is appreciated
