Hello,
Does anyone know of a website or a resource where I can put in my system info and determine what it's currently worth? I need to determine depreciation on our servers and workstations.

Hi simple straight line depreciation
(originalcost-scrapvalue)/expected years life
anything over 5 years old is largely at max depreciation ie scrap value unless it has high intrinsic value to an instituition eg heavy plant over 40 years or leased etc. secondly ask your company accountant what dep' charge was against them per year or where they amortized? , he should have that info, & ask him would he do your job!.
