Hello - I just wanted confirmation on something. I was playing Solitiare just now on my Dell Vostro 1400 and then the screen dipped black, came back in and then went totally black and has stayed that way. I quickly connected the laptop to my external monitor to see if it would pick up but it did not.
Does this mean the LCD display itself has died? Or perhaps the inverter? or maybe both?
After a few tries I was able to get the laptop loaded with my external monitor in safe mode and took a picture of the desktop screen when it loaded. I just need someone to take a look at the picture so they can advise me properly. Does anyone have an email address I can send it to? Let me know asap
