Dell remove bios password

Specs: Windows 7

please help me i have a Dell E6400
when i start something it displays:
computer system,#8M0VK4J-2A7B is protected by a password authentication
system....
please type in the system or administrator password
I tried to remove the pile , the battery and all but it didn't work
please is urgent

Looks like the owner set a password on it. Looks like it's doing its job.

Ask the owner what the password is. If that's not possible, contact Dell, it's the only way to get the password cleared.

there is not another solution like short-circuit or another more safe
please it really important it's me the owner i forgot the bios password ans so on

I find if difficult to believe that you can forget a password that you use every time you turn the computer on!

You have no choice but to contact Dell. Laptop passwords are secure because laptops are very easily stolen.

This forum, like most others, does not normally help with forgotten passwords. The reason being it is impossible to verify that is actually the case. A laptop BIOS password is a theft deterrent and it is quite good. It is not normally possible to remove it without the manufacturers assistance. If it were easily removed it would serve no purpose. Removing the battery or shorting points on the motherboard will not work.

Contact Dell and be prepared to prove ownership.

I did this once (years ago) and eventually ending up with 120 junk emails per day.
