Last night (here in the UK), I acquired a Dell Optiplex GX620 which didn't necessarily work, until I did a bit of fiddling, and got it working, very late. So, I decided to continue with it today. It sat unplugged for a night, so I plugged it back in and was greeted with something that absolutely aggravated me. The system's diagnostic lights complained of bad RAM. I tried some other sticks, and even tried putting the original memory in another slot, and still it didn't work. Now, I am reasonably confused. I tried it last night without its DisplayPort video card, and it worked fine. Now, there is another error code which I cannot find, with the card plugged in. The first, third and fourth light come on. Does anyone know:
1. How to fix the RAM problem
2. What diagnostic lights 1, 3 and 4 signal
Any help would be much appreciated.
