I have several of these units they all seem to have the same problem the left and right arrow keys do not work! I have tried several keyboards and even pulled keyboards from working units. Is there a easy or even moderate fix out there for this problem or are the units not fixable without a motherboard replacement.

i take it the laptops are out of warranty or service contract?? you can go to the dell website and download their diags disk boot to it and run the complete diags to find out if there is a major problem and also if the keybd operates in diags then it may be a wrong driver installed possible the wrong layout for the keys (just a guess) but as a dell tech the diags disk has told me alot about the mach i run it on
