Just bought a Dell Latitude CPI off ebay for my wife to do school work on and was wondering why I can't install more than 256M of RAM? Is it the Pentium II processor that limits me or the motherboard itself?

The maximum for that model is 256 MB. Remember it was designed for Win 9x or 2000. I don't think Vista is going to work.

Yeah the Vista thing is an error on my part. Was filling out the form too fast and missed the drop down. It has Xp on it. But you didn't really answer my question.
