After wiping out my laptop (Dell Latitude C810) and just loading WinXP onto it...my DVD-Rom won't play DVD's. I try to open the DVD in Media player and it gives error: DVD decoder is not installed. Where can I get a DVD decoder for my laptop if I don't have my original Dell recovery CD's or original stuff?

You need the MPEG2 codec which doesn't come with Media Player. You will need to install DVD software such as WinDVD or Power DVD.
