Stop trying every driver disc u have & get the drivers from DELL website. You know the real meaning of peace only if you have been through the war.

I have the feeling other important drivers are missing. You know the real meaning of peace only if you have been through the war.

Open Device manager from computer properties (if you are using Windows 7 then just type device manager in start and it will give you the result and open it.) and there you will find all hardware in your system. Check to see if anything is marked with a yellow sign. If something is marked with a yellow sign that means the driver is not installed. What you have to do is see what the hardware is for which no driver is installed and get it from the DELL website. If all drivers are installed or at least your Ethernet or wireless drivers are installed uninstall them from the device manager and download new ones from dell website and install those drivers and then see if this resolves the issue. By my knowledge it should solve the problem because if everything was working alright before install the HDD then you don't need to worry as it should only be a driver issue. downloaded drivers from dell onto a flashdrive from another computer, once loaded the wireless internet stated and connected to the internet, now just have to find the proper log in for the ethernet cable conection.
