Dell Inspiron 1501 Audio Drivers

Hi, Please can anyone tell me where I can get the audio drivers for the above? Dell's website was no help, the drivers didnt work... Thanks

There were two different sound chips used in the Dell Inspiron 1501...make sure you download the correct one: http://support.us.dell.com/support/... http://support.us.dell.com/support/... EDIT: scratch that 2nd one...it's for Vista

My guess is you formatted the HDD without 1st making a note of the drivers, now you've got to hunt them all down? The "Base System Device" is the chipset driver http://support.dell.com/support/dow...

If you go to the Dell site and enter the numbers off your case. You should be able to access ALL the drivers. Download them and burn to CD.
