Dell GX! previous fan faliure

Hey i got a lot of 17 Dell GX1 PII & PIII'S. Now all the fans and hard drives have been toren out. I replaced one of the fans in the computer seems to be working fine. But i still get a error that says:

Check the BIOS, there could be a couple of fan settings. Fiddle around with them, im not really familiar with dell BIOS's, but if should disappear then.

I believe the answer is to clear the BIOS by removing power and jumpering the "clear cmos" pins on the MoBo. You will then have to re-enter your Bios settings(With the jumper removed).I believe the error message resides in the event logs embedded in the BIOS. I hope this works, It should.
