I was just wondering if anyone knows the maximum hard drive size i can get for my Dimension 3100 and whether it's SATA or SATA II (I think it's SATA)

you can get a sata2 drive it s backward compatible with sata1 , Sry dont know if theres a max size issue as some bios's do have issues with large drives.
