Any suggestions as to why, with no warning signs, my Dell Lattitude CPi laptop will not power up? Nothing happens when I press the power button. Nada. Nothing. I have tried two diffent chargers and the battery led's show a charge. Could a bad battery cause the laptop to do nothing?? Thanks.

First thing to look for is a reset switch. Some laptops have a little hole that a paper clip will fit into that will reset the laptop, others don't. If you can't find one, try removing the battery and see what happens with just AC power. If nothing happens but some of the LED's light up, hold in the power button until they go off, unplug the AC adapter and try again. Can a bad battery cause the problem, yes. It could also be a loose connection inside the laptop. If all else fails take it to a service center to have it looked at.
