HELP!! Turned off my PC yesterday and all seemed well.. Tonight i pressed the power button to turn it on and the power light flashed orange for one second and then nothing.. Tried again and got the same, one flash of orange and nothing. The little LED inside at the back stays lit but that is orange too.. I've read up about a solid or flashing orange light but cant find anything about the one flash thing.. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Have you removed the power cable, then reconnected it?

Hi ! Yes i've removed the power cable a few times.. unpluged everything else thats connected but no joy. All there is is 1 second of orange light and a quick half attemted effort from the fan?

It's probably a bad Power Supply. If it's still under Warranty, you can get a Warranty replacement from Dell.

Hi there peeps.... took my fan casing off and seemed that the fan was sticking after a few turns so i span it for a while with my finger, cleaned it and put it back together. A little bit cowboyish but it seems to have worked. Though somtimes i have to start up a few times to start the fan off.. Any suggestions where i could get a cheapish replacement fan for this model.... Dell C521 Thanx
