I'm getting a new laptop soon. The configuration will probably be Windows 7 Intel Core i5 processor 4 GB of RAM ATI Radeon 5470 Does it really matter whether it's shared or dedicated memory for the GPU? I will only be gaming occasionally, but need them to run smoothly on medium settings. Has anyone experienced significant slow downs because of shared memory as opposed to dedicated memory?
