Hi,

Today i RMAed my 7900GTX for giving my artifacts.. so now i had no video untill they return it, but fortunetly a friend of mine had an old Leadtek 5700 PCI-e with 256MB.. so we put it in my A8N32-SLI Dlx only to get a lot of beeps, no video...
We tried the other PCI-e slot with same results...
Then we put it in a DFI mobo, no video either.

So i know most likely the card is just dead, but i'm not sure, my friend said it worked perfectly before..

so are there any other reasons why it won't work? And can i do something about it?

Thanks.

Hi, If it worked during boot and in safe mode then it needs a proper driver to work properly. If not then it's probably bad.

Luck, Jim

There is no FX5700 PCI-e, it's either AGP or standard PCI

Well there has to be... because i'm looking at one right now, the slot i see is PCI-e and when i take the heatsink off it reveals a nVidia GPU with the letters: Geforce FX 5700

If you don't believe me here are some pictures:
