Hi Everybody, I have a very big problem with my computer. I own a Toshiba laptop and it crushed. Since then, I can’t get it to run again. When I turn it on, I can hear the fan working, but the screen is completely black. Also, I can hear the hard drive working maybe for a second and then it gets quiet. So, the power light is on, the fan is on and the screen is black and I can’t get to bios or do anything. I don’t know what to do please help me! hubie

0. Remove the battery
1. Unplug the laptop's AC adapter.
2. Push the power button and hold it in for about 3 minutes (time this).
3. Reconnect the AC adapter back, reboot the laptop.

It's Satellite 1905-s303. Yes, I removed the memory module and I put it back again and still the problem is present. I don't know maybe the module is fried. Is there a way to check the memory module?
