DDR or PC2700?

I was lookinf at Ram today at best buy and there is no such thing as DDR, the guy said it was called something else but he didnt know what? Also why is 256 more then 512? Is there a such place to find cheap used working ram?

Go to either of these places to get your ram, both are guaranteed to work in your system and also have a life time warranty. They may not ne the cheapest, but the quality is there. not sure if you are getting confused by the different terminology. there seems to be two different naming systems for the same thing. PC1600 = ddr200 , PC2100 = ddr266 , pc2700 = ddr333 , pc3200 = ddr400.
