Specs: Windows XP, 1 GB
Dear sir,
Before my computer was running well by xp OS but when i wanted to setup new OS 2000. In the beginning i coldnt follow instruction and i have mistaken that total hard drive unpartitioned. as a result all data lost then i setup xp OS. In beginning setup i make new partition and formate the Drive C and complete setup XP windows. after then i format other drive. My big problem is all valuable data have lost. so plz tell me how we can get or recover those all lost data.

There are unformative tools out there but they are not cheap. You might find one with a free trail but they usually have a limit on the number of files you can unformat. This why we do backups.

You might try this, its open source which means there is no manual or tech support but it is free...

Remove the hard drive and attach it externally to a different PC. If you continue to use that PC you will reduce the chances of any recovery. Here are some file recovery programs.
