Data backup using Maxtor Onetouch

What do you think about using a 100+GB Maxtor Onetouch ramdrive for primary data backup? It seems inexpensive, no buying replacement tapes or having to clean heads & rollers. Its fast and easy to carry offsite.

Any downsides to this for a small office server?
