I have recently upgraded my PC with a new motherboard, processer and ram. The problem I have is every time I turn my computer on it tells me that it can't detect a PS2 mouse and that I need to 'press any key to continue'. As I am using a USB mouse I went out and bought I USB 2 PS2 connecter (little green thing) but that didn't solve it. So I bought a new mouse and that didn't solve it. It must be some settting somewhere that I have set wrong but I'm damned if I can find it. Please can some one save me from having to 'press any key to continue' every time I turn my PC on!!!!! Thanks

check to see if the pins are broken on the mouse or the PS/2 port itself is damaged. if your still having problems the only solution is to replace the mobo.

I've had the same problem before with mice, it would only work with a USB but you have to enable USB mouse in BIOS. I would suggest you enable both mouse and keyboard for S&G's as it will only detect what you have in it and use it.
