Hello everyone,
A friend of mine (honestly, it is not me) recently tried to pick up their laptop by the open screen and left a "thumb print on the screen" which has since turned black and caused significant color and picture distortion. Without seeing it, I suspect that there is no proper fix aside from replacing the screen (it is beyond the warranty), but I am open to any thoughts you may have. (i.e., since only a small section is damages, is there a way to fix it rather than replace it?)
Otherwise, does anyone know of a good place to buy Vaio screens and whether they need to be installed by professionals?
