I have just installed daemon tools, the virtual drive thing. Problem is the drive appears under my computer but there doesnt seem to be any actual program or software to use this virtual drive. i checked the properties of the drive and everything and there doesn't seem to be a way to load an image onto it or nothing. anyone kno whats wrong ?

Daemon Tools should have put an icon in the system tray. Right click on the icon, select Virtual CD/DVD-ROM, select the drive, and then select Mount image.

the icon should look like a red lightning bolt
what is painfully obvious to one person might be just painful to the other

next problem
I just installed Daemon tools, while it was installing it gave me a blue screen (never had that before in XP) with something about scsi drivers. maybe not the best solution, but I pushed the reset button..
Now in my explorer it shows the virtual drive, after starting d-tools the program gives an error about something about a language error. i tried to deïnstall.. but no d-tools in my software list. so I just deleted d-tools, but the virtual drive exists. reïnstalling doesn't work because of an error that some SCSI drivers are in use..
please help me
Jeroen

I installed the latest version of Daemon, and when I click on it, nothing happens. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks for your help. I am using XP SP 2.

right-click on the lightning bolt icon in the lower right hand corner of your screen near your clock
it should pop up with a menu of optionscommon sense isn't very common
