Hello, I have an old computer (win 98se) with an equally old Creative Cd Rw(rw8438e) which plays Cds with no problems but I can't burn files to the Cd because the Cd drive letter (D:) does not show up when I right click to send a file to the Cd, what does show up is 3½ Floppy (A:) 3½ Floppy (B:) When I try to copy a file to the CD I get this message: D:\ is not accessible the device is not ready. Yes there is a Rw Cd in the drive bay.
D:\ drive does show up in "My Computer" Device mgr shows the CD having no problem except for no driver which I have been unable to locate.
Someone on the Forums here mentioned that Windows will add a driver, so is my problem with drive letters?
