I have a 256mb cruzer micro that I have had for 2 months and now I cannot access the information in it. The 'please insert disk' message keeps coming up when I click on it. I have put it in all of the USB ports in all 3 of my XP Pro pc's with the same results. I cannot format or do anything else with it in windows. It is configured so that I don't have to click the 'safely remove hardware' icon when I take it out of any of the USB ports. I have gone to the Sandisk site and have 'googled' it with no answers to the problem. Help. Thanks.

Okay, went into Administrative Tools - Disk Management - formatted partition with FAT and...voila!...got it back! All the info is gone but I have that backed up anyway. Ciao, Rocco.
