OS: win xp
CPU/Ram: 2300 amd
Model/Manufacturer: sandisk cruzer mini
Comment:
I recently crushed my Flash Drive. It was a cruzer mini. The shell was cracked, but the chip and usb connector seem intact. I tried to connect it to several computers but the "chip" is not recognized. Is there any hope, or is this just toast now?

Be careful, you could burn out the USB port with that drive.

Its toast. You probably cracked the circuit board that the chip is soldered onto.
