How do I create a partition? Is there a program in my system to create a cd-rom partition?I have C:, and D:, but when i put a Cd in the cdrom, the E: partition seems to be missing. How do i create it? I'm using WinME. Any help would be appreciated.

The CD should be recognised in BIOS if that is the case ME assigns a drive letter to the CD.............

Hi Foxy: First see if you have any last drive DOS command(s) in autoexec.bat or config.sys file (use msconfig in start/run, or use edit command in DOS, exit windows). Make sure you change last drive = Z, if it was set as D that could be why drive doesn't show in windows. Also check your Control Panel in system properties/device manager to see if any problems with CD-ROM drive, if so remove device & re-boot to see if windows will re-install the device.
Good luck. Z
