cpu upgrade

I have a K7T Pro2-A (MS-6330) motherboard with 1 ghz thunderbird cpu. The MB can handle a cpu up to 1.4 ghz. If I upgrade will there be a big difference in speed? Or is it not worth the money to upgrade.
