I just installed a new Duron 1300 and when I turn my computer on it does the POST and Bios Checks. It finds the drives and then stops dead.

Summary: Well, if it is just a cpu problem, then save yourself some money and just get another cpu and a case with better cooling,maybe a better heatsink fan and make sure you go with a good brand like Zalman....
