Systems reboots after about 5 min.
My system boots fine with a fresh install
of win me.
I've checked the hard drive, videocard, sound card, tested the memory psu, all OK.
I'm 99% sure it's the motherboard or the cpu. How can I tell I don't have a spare mobo or cpu to check.
Please help me I'm loosing it.

If you know your psu is ok the next stop on this bus is likely to eliminate cpu temp as the culprit.

Download and run a program such as SpeedFan to monitor cpu temps...it's free. Another freebie to see how hot your cpu gets under load is toast.

Thanks for the reply,
I checked the bios health monitor and the temp is fine.
Any other suggestions ?

the machine does not run long enough to install any programs.
