My system is keep restarting within few seconds.i went to BIOS and checked temp cpu temp is going high at starting it is 76dc its keep going to96dc and its shutting.my processor is intel 2.66Ghz.my heat sink is not sitted correctly i corrected correctly and working in windows but i checked temp with sensors view its showing cpu temp-58~70 when it is idle.i didnt check on games(load),cpu fan speed 3863RPM sys temp~32dc.one of my systems (intel 1.8,865mother board) showing cputemp-32dc

can u help me what to do

and one more thing speed fan,everest,sensorsview softwares show correct temp or its fake?

Did you renew the thermal compound between CPU and heatsink after you noticed the heatsink wasn't seated correctly?

Check your temperature in bios before booting the operating system and then compare that reading with what is reported by your other software. They should all be accessing the same motherboard sensorchip but don't always label the output correctly.

Check your temp readings in the BIOS & compare them to the software readings.

When the heat sink is not sitted correctly temp reading in BIOS,cpu temp is starting from 76dc and it is going 96dc and it is shutting down.after it was sitted correctly cpu temp in BIOS is shownig between 54~56dc.but i didn't apply thermal paste.my sys is not shuting and working fine and im able to login into windows.i tested it with sensors view it is showing 58d(idle).
