cpu heat sink fan

i took apart my heatsink and the fan to clean all the dust off. im pretty sure the fan must be blowing out away from the cpu is that right?

The fan should be blowing toward the CPU, onto the heat sink.

And do not forget to clean the bottom of the heatsink and the top of the processor with a little paint thinner to remove the old grease, and reapply new grease before you remount the heatsink.
