Specs: Windows 7
AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3000+ 1.80 Ghz

Few months ago I got a computer and everything was going well until one day I left the computer turned on for a while(hour-two, nothing long)
The screen was black so I restarted the computer but just when windows loaded the screen went black, computer restarted and I got an error
CPU Fan error, press f1 to continue

I tried cleaning the fan, checkin the plugs everything is working well... in bios the temperatures are fine but the CPU Fan RMP are in red colour and rotations per minute are 1650-1700

I tried disabling the RMP checker, I tried ignoring everything in bios, the computer still crashes...

Interesting thing is that it works perfectly on safe mode, I'm right here on computer writing this on Networking safe mode...

either the fan is actually bad, which you could verify by replacing the fan (or heat sink / fan combo), or the self monitoring feature is going bad. this might be fixable by updating chipset drivers. hopefully it is not a physical problem with your motherboard.
