Hello to a CPU fan expert.
I need detailed information regarding the
usual 3 wires from the motherboard to the
CPU fan assembly.
There are usually red and black wires,
as well as a third wire which could be
blue, white, etc.
The red wire seems to be a +12 volt line.
The remaining 2 wires are the ones that
I am questiong.
Can anyone help me with this ?Thanks for your thoughts on this.

Black is the return (Ground) the other wire is the fans speed sensor. Do yourself a favor BACKUP!
