Don't go for it.Bus speed discrepancies lead me to think your current CPU has higher core voltage.You will burn the new CPU.Why don't you switch to AMD AM2 X2 3800+ with a 667 MHz memory duo kit?The motherboard can be an ECS with nvidia geforce integrated video based on the 405 chip(geforce6100SM-M).A good computer on a tight budget.

Yeh you are right. I researched it better, and the CPU would not work on the motherboard. Thanks for the so-not-good advicwe "mountain" tut tut
