I was wondering how much a Geforce 6800 ddr2 256mb AGP video card goes for, and where a good place to go to buy one would be.

I could be wrong but I don't think the plain vanilla 6800 came with DDR2. They're old news anyway. There are plenty of better, more modern AGP cards available.
As for the 1GB RAM, we have no idea what your system supports...SDR, DDR, DDR2, etc. Post the make/model of your motherboard. Which game is it that you're trying to play?
