Before my computer caught a virus and I had to get it cleaned out, I could go to my pictures and select what I wanted of them to copy or move to a disk . I never paid attention to what the program was called but a computer/scanner wizard would open up and it would copy or move the pics and give me an option to name the disk before finishing.

Do I need to download a driver or a certain program or what to be able to copy or move pictures to a disk now?

I keep getting a message saying D:\ is not accessible. What do I do now? Playing CDs of DVDs works just fine. It just won't copy anything to a disk now. I've tried both CDs and DVDs now.

You need a program to burn cd/dvd's, Nero, Roxio, Ashampoo are popular also you can Google for free ones.
Nero often comes included with the purchase of a dvd burner.
It looks as if whatever you were using before has been corrupted. It was probably preinstalled by Acer, probably the only way to get it back is to use Acer's restore option.
This usually means you need to backup all your files and restore to as new.
