I have a 320gb SATA hard drive with 2 partitions and 2 external usb IDE drives. For some reason all of a sudden when i watch a video from one of my external drives, it loads slow and pauses every few seconds. But if i watch a video on my main HD or Cd-rom everything is fine.

Also when i try to copy a file from my external drive to my main drive, it is extremely slow to the point where it doesn't even seem like it's transfering. I tried to copy a 100mb file and it first said 35min then it went down to 2min, i left for 2hrs and came back it still wasn't done copying yet. Does anyone know why it is doing this?

Look up "USB Bandwidth test" on google. Also try formatting the external HD.
